I am sure we have all heard the saying "Practice makes perfect." I think every coach, trainer and PE teacher used to say that to kids. Somewhere along the line, some woke up and realized that this information was not exactly accurate. It is perfect practice that makes perfect. There will be many days in CrossFit that you are learning new movements or working on ones that you are not that good. If you want to get better you have to work on the proper form. It is that muscle memory of the correct form that is going to make these movement feel like second nature. If you don't take the time in the beginning to work on the movements correctly, you will eventually have to go back to the basics. I say this from personal experience. Don't let time, speed, ego or pride get in the way of your personal health and improvement. Remember that we are laying the foundation to your wellness mansion and we don't want to build on unstable ground.
